The resort itself is too far but if you want a really quiet vacay resort, this is the place to be. They wont allow you to bring your meals , u have to tell their staff your orders ahead of time. Their infinity pools are great and clean, not so much wd chlorine. There are two ways going down to the beach. The western stairs is steeper going down to the pebble /rocky beach. The east have more steps but the beach is more of peebles and sand with a cave and clear water. There are small bridges going to the tree house, camping sites . The rooms are so cozy.
Beautiful resort!! The buildings and other resort features are tastefully designed and constructed using locally-sourced and reclaimed materials. They blend in seamlessly with the natural surroundings.
One of the best resorts in Lobo Batangas. Came here few yrs ago. And I know there’s a lot of changes now in the resort. I had the chance to meet the owner of this resort. She was very nice. She said the resort should be for their family only but they open it in public. I am a fan of rock beaches because i like to explore and collect different rocks and shells. I went here during weekday, literally as if i rent the whole resort because only few people was there. All in all, i had a great time in this resort.. i will come back for sure.
A very good place to stay. The place is a bit far from town so Reception is very poor. The beach is a bit rocky but it's very nice especially during high tide. They have 2 heated infinity pools available so you could still swim during the night.
The food they serve are very delicious but a bit overpriced given its serving portions. Some meals have different serving sizes from one another.
The Resort is big and well-maintained with lots of greeneries. Another plus factor is the 2 swimming pools which made up for the rocky beach. Make sure to bring beach shoes or sandals. Cottages are spread out in the resort but the best ones …
As their tagline says, it is worth the trip. Went there on a weekend and i must say that the place and view is beautiful. Only 2 villas were occupied that time so we had the swimming pool all to ourselves. I must say that we really enjoyed the infinity pool, and it was the highlight of our trip. I know there are places we can explore there, but it's difficult since we do went there with our baby that time. It's nice as well as they have a playground for kids. I just wish that the rooms could have more lights cause its quite dark inside the room.
Absolutely love this place!
Challenging access of around 3 kms just before the resort but well worth it.
Reception was a breeze, room with a veranda facing the sea and very spacious, full functioning bathroom was surprisingly gorgeous, pools (both infinity) were amazing, service was great, walkways and the surroundings are well maintained, the antique collection around was delightful and, most of all, the views were stunning and breathtaking.
Oh, i almost forgot the beach and the hidden cove. Great spots to go to while in the resort.
We met the owner couple who were kind and gracious to invite us to their lookout kubo. Beautiful scenery!
Special thanks to Ate Baby for looking after us and the rest of the staff.
Modesty aside, we've been to a number of resorts around the country and this one definitely belongs to our top 2 spots.
Thanks a lot to the staff and owners of this resort.
Coming from Laguna, we travelled for more than 2 hours to get there. There are road constructions along the way but there was no notable traffic. Just be ready for literally long and winding roads and some uphills and hairpin curves. The last 3 to 4 kms leading to the resort is bumpy, rocky and gravelly and you may have to pass a number of spillways. It would be better if your vehicle has big tires or you have an SUV or pick-up, as "low" cars would find the road really challenging.
All in all, the resort is impressive, beautiful, relaxing, and quiet (we were there on a weekday). No wifi so this is a great place to "disconnect". There is also a private museum for history buffs and you will be amazed by the massive bayonet collection of the owner.
We enjoyed most the infinity pool which is meticulously cleaned in the morning and in the evening. Food is quite pricey but it is understandable since it is quite a distance for them to restock their supplies. Lastly, all the staff are friendly and very helpful.
I would highly recommend this resort if you would like to slow down and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city as well as take your mind off the stresses of work and life in general.
One night is not enough to enjoy the place. It is literally far, but "it is worth the trip" indeed!!
